在“回忆莓”一集中，在体育界人士决定在播放国歌时静坐抗议后，国会请来J·J·艾布拉姆斯来重写国歌。艾布拉姆斯的新版国歌允许人们在唱国歌时坐着，站着或者跪下，这毁了赫伯特·加里森在演奏国歌时静坐，好让希拉里·克林顿当选总统的计划。
