冷知识[]

  • 这部流媒体电影是《南方公园》的第七部长篇电影,也是第六部“专为电视制作”的电影。
  • Before the special was released, an unlisted trailer was found on the Paramount Plus YouTube account noting that the movie was "Now Streaming". This video was later made private but was then made public when the special was released.
    • Additionally, promotional material was also found posted on billboards in major cities, displaying the title and release date of the special, as well as illustrating some of the boys with the Cred drinks featured in the special.
  • 肯尼在整部电影中没有台词,开场只出场一次。
  • 海蒂布里密在整部电影中都没有戴帽子。
  • Janice bears a slight resemblance to Betsy Donovan.
  • Prime is confirmed to exist alongside Cred, as when Cartman is watching an influencer on TikTok, the influencer states: "Cred has more electrolytes than Gatorade or Prime."
  • When Clyde is watching content made by LoganLeDouche on YouTube, we see that he is logged in on his father's account (initials "RD" for Roger Donovan).
  • Animation Changes: After so long with the standard and simple 4th grader designs, (even after "Breast Cancer Show Ever" which introduced new background 6th graders) this episode finally brought a ton of new characters models for the background 4th graders, with more polished designs and more in line with the show's current animation.
    • They also seem to have actual children voicing these new characters.
  • When Randy appears in a cameo commenting on his own video, he says "美味しい" (oishii!, Japanese for "it's delicious!").
  • This movie is rated between R and NC-17. (In the UK, the movie is right now rated 18. it is later rated R18 in the UK.)

References to Popular Culture[]

  • Cred is a reference to the sports drink Prime, sharing a similar bottle design and text font.
  • LoganLeDouche is a reference to professional wrestler and influencer Logan Paul, who is a co-creator of Prime.
    • Logan Paul published an edit of the Cred advertisement Clyde watches on YouTube, where he replicates his character's actions and mentions the actual drink Prime instead of Cred.[1]
  • The song "I Got Cred, Bitches" heard in the special is likely a reference to "We got Prime, boys", a TikTok song from May 2023 which became a meme on the platform.
  • The South Park Elementary parents finding out that a teacher has been posting on OnlyFans references the recent trend of teachers who have turned to performing on OnlyFans for extra income. Several teachers have either been fired or resigned from their position after their identities were revealed and parents complained to the schools. [2][3][4]
  • Two of the suggested profiles listed on Randy's OnlyFans page are of YouTuber Tana Mongeau and adult actress Lena the Plug. Both women have their own OnlyFans pages.
  • The special might also be referencing the fact that younger people tend to watch South Park even though the show is definitely not suitable for children. On top of that, several moments have characters asserting that some of their actions are not suitable for children.
  • The fact that the special spends a large amount of time showing Randy's penis, while only audible referencing any sort of female nudity or sex act despite the trailers and opening implying that female nudity would be shown, could be a reference to the fact that many adult animated shows that promise mature content have no problem frequently and brazenly feature all manners of male nudity while been incredibly shy and reserved about any form of female nudity.
  • List of the Cred flavors referencing other brands:
    • Peppa Pig Peppermint, a parody of Peppa Pig.
    • Big Boy Blueberry, with its logo parodying Gerber.
  • List of photos that make up the photo montage of miners:
    • Michigan Iron Miners, unknown photographer[5]
    • Swedish miners in Hanna with picks and lighted headlamp, unknown photographer, 1892.[6]
    • West Virginia, Coal Miners by Lewis Hine, c. 1909.[7]
    • Portrait of a California gold miner with tools, unknown photographer, c. 1850.[8]
    • (Gold) miners sinking a shaft 1880s, unknown photographer, c. 1880s.[9]
    • Coal miners in mine shaft, unknown photographer, c. 1880s.[10]
    • Photograph of George Warren by C. S. Fly, 1880.[11]
  • The Cred riot in Pueblo, Colorado may be a reference to when streamer and influencer Kai Cenat hosted a PlayStation 5 giveaway in New York City on August 4th, 2023, which, due to the extremely massive turnout and excitement, devolved into a riot. Cenat was then charged for inciting a riot and unlawful assembly.[12][13]
  • The Motel 2½ where LoganLeDouche was hiding at is a reference to Motel 6, a chain of budget motels in the United States and Canada.

Goofs[]

  • Laura Tucker is using her old design used from the Season Twelve episode "Pandemic".
  • There is a reused playground scene from "Deep Learning" shown in the special. This scene shows Jason White, despite the fact that he died in Season Twenty-Three. This is likely a continuity error.
  • Both Jason White and Boy with Brown Hair and Red Shirt can be seen alive throughout the special, however both characters died in the Season Twenty-Three episode "Season Finale" and in "The Pandemic Special" respectively.
  • When Nathan is offering Clyde different bottles of Cred, the Temp 12A building changes in appearance when the perspective is changed.
  • At the parent-teacher meeting when the group of parents are seen arguing, much of their mouths are not seen or animated at times.
  • Among the bidders at the influencers' auction, the flag representing the Polish delegation is hung upside down, while that for the Belgian delegation is flipped horizontally.
  • The characters say that the giveaway is taking place 200 miles away. But Pueblo is only about 100 miles from Park County.
